Our client, a growing insurance company, is actively recruiting for an Information Security Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. The role will focus on building security controls and measures across the business.
The successful Information Security Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing policies across information security, business continuity and resilience
- Building excellent relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external (such as CISOs and Risk professionals)
- Threat monitoring, understanding threats and risks to data and systems
- Regularly overseeing assessments and audits of the company’s security, business continuity and operational resilience
- Ensuring full due diligence of data and cyber protection
- Supporting incident response to security breaches or operational resilience incidents
- Presenting reports on security to key stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
The ideal candidate for the Information Security Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in information security roles within financial services or other professional services environments
- Excellent knowledge of security technologies and practices such as firewalls and identity management
- Experience with cyber security tools
- Strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery principles
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, e.g., ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST etc.
- The ability to communicate complicated security issues to technical and non-technical teams
Our client operates a hybrid working policy with three days per week on-site.
