IT Security Lead – London - £75,000 - £85,000 pa + Bonus
Working for a leading Law firm based in Central London, the IT Security Lead role blends leadership, technical skills, and strategic planning to offer a challenging and rewarding next step in your career.
What you’ll do:
- Utilise your skills and experience to maintain the security of all corporate digital systems, networks, infrastructure components, and cloud environments.
- This combined with your security architecture and project experience, along with your ability to engage with external vendors and senior management (reporting into the Infrastructure Manager), will help you succeed in this newly created role.
- You’ll have day-to-day responsibility for protecting system boundaries, securing highly sensitive data, and keeping systems and networked devices protected against attack.
Key upcoming projects you’ll be taking a lead on:
- You will play a key role in helping create a SOC, based on a managed solution. The project is at the planning/business case stage with a Project Manager in place. You will take the lead on this using your technical experience to guide and support the set up & implementation.
- A project focusing on migration to cloud and Exchange online is also in the pipeline
Technical Stack/Experience:
- Security frameworks and certifications - NIST, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials etc.
- SolarWinds, NetFlow and logicmonitor
- Extreme networks for Access points/ switching.
- Checkpoint firewalls. Endpoint security - Checkpoint Harmony.
- Censornet for URL filtering
- Nessus by tenable for scanning. Internal vulnerability scanning and reporting
- SD wan – Silver peak or HP Aruba SD wan
- Microsoft O365 and Entra ID Hybrid.
Salary/Work pattern:
- Up to £85,000 per annum + performance based bonus
- Flexible working – 2-3 days per week in the office
