IT Support Engineer & Web Support
£30,000-£35,000 per annum
Canterbury – Full time
Our client, an established name in the area, is looking for an experienced IT Technician with additional skills in Web based technology development and support - preferably through professional experience but strong personal interest will be considered.
This role is hands on with in person and remote support and is based full time at their offices in central Canterbury along with the rest of the IT team.
This role would suit a strong 2nd line support person with a real interest in websites and web based technologies, however this is not web developer position.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting, liaising with and advising staff and 3rd parties
- IT Support, administration and monitoring of a Microsoft, Windows and Linux environment
- Windows and Linux server support
- MDM management and remote access
- Provide a knowledge base for IT best practices, information security and date protection
- Support business application support & software implementations
- Support and troubleshoot web-based applications & technologies
- Provide advice on web services like analytics, SEO and advertising
Skills & Experience:
- Microsoft 365 & Azure
- Windows & Linux servers and services
- SharePoint
- Active Directory & Azure Active Directory
- Networking including Printing, Wireless, Firewalls, Proxies, Threat Management
- Hyper-V virtualisation
- Data Storage
- Web support skills e.g. Websites, Browser services, Web analytics, SEO, Web Apps, SaaS, API’s, CMS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SASS, LESS, SQL, Webpack Git, Subversion, CVS, IIS, SSL etc.
