Our client, an established international law firm, is actively recruiting for a Network Analyst to join them on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
The role will be focusing on all networking technologies, including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi and Unfiied Comms, ensuring the firm is working to industry best practices.
The successful candidate for the Network Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring all networking technologies are well maintained
- Developing a maintenance plan for all firewalls and telephony systems
- Deployment of appropriate security controls across the firm’s network
- Managing VPNs across the firm
- Troubleshooting network-related issues
- Maintaining accurate documentation of networking, firewall and telephony technologies
- Providing out of hours cover for technical escalations as and when required
The ideal candidate for the Network Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar Networking role
- CCNA or CCNP certified
- Experience working in professional environments such legal or financial services
- Experience in ITIL environments, preferably with exposure to security best practices e.g. ISO27001
- Firewall experience, preferably with CheckPoint, Palo Alto and FortiGate
- Experience with Cisco Switches, Cisco Prime and ISE
- Experience with Netorking protocols, i.e. SIP, ISDN, OSPF, BGP
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Windows Server
- Client VPN experience
- Storage systems experience (NetApp preferable)
